"Why?"
A needle in your arm
A brief flinch of pain
Heaven in your head
Poison in your veins
A little puff of weed
A little sniff of coke
Everything is perfect
At least until you're broke
They want you for yoru money
You want them for their drugs
When you get down to it
They're nothing more than thugs
The pain of coming down
Isn't worth the getting high
Before you lay the cash down
Stop and ask, "Why?"
