"Marta"
A visitor from far away
Almost another world.
Dark hair, dark eyes, glasses;
Still a different sort of girl.
Almost as obsessed with sci-fi
As the author sitting here.
No lies cross her lips to friends
Every word is sincere.
She'll be headed for home, so far away
Before the year is through,
Yet all she met, because of her,
Discovered something new.
