Lonely, tired, depressed, or just broke? Well, you too can make money in the land of World of Warcraft. What does being lonely, tired, and depressed have to do with being broke? Nothing, it was just catchy so I put in there. Now back to our sponsor, making Gold in the World of Warcraft game.
There are several avenues one can take and I am going to go into detail on some of them just to give you the lowdown of what effort will be put out, and what it takes price wise in order to do these tasks. Hopefully when I am done it will be clearer which way to start your character out and which path you should choose in the long run to make money.
Profession:
The first way to guarantee making currency in the WoW system is to choose a profession that will allow you to make money. Any and all of them will eventually make you gold but we are looking for the ones that will make you money right off the bat. The first is mining.
Mining starts off as a moneymaker, as you are collecting the very essence of what you are trying to make. What does it cost to mine? Well, you buy a mining pick and go to it. Copper, Silver, Gold, and so on are the basics of the money system in the WoW (World of Warcraft) system, so it would stand to reason that collecting the raw material could make you rich. Don't be fooled into thinking that you just mine and then turn them into the first NPC (non player character) that you run into, or vendor as we call them. It's not; you see there is a method to the madness.
The first item on the miner's to-do list is to up his proficiency score. Why? So he or she can gather higher grades of raw materials. Have I confused you yet? Let's go step by step for a minute. Step one would be to harvest copper till you get to the message on your chat box that states you have reached 75 in mining. This usually involves a lot of mining of copper. Step two would be to find a forge. Now make those bricks of copper. Not only will this raise the level of your mining score to nearly 100 but also it will make about 75 bars of copper. This allows you to rise to the next levels of ore and you simply follow the same advice for them as you did for copper. Remember that when you get so high of a score in your mining you will need to buy the next ability from the mining trainer. Step three is to go the auction house and sell those bars. Remember, the more the merrier, so do this as often as you can and you will find the money flowing into your account. As you reach higher ores the same
