The biggest economic threat to the United States

by Tom Kern

Last week's news headlines will determine this week's trends in the marketplace, but only to a certain degree. Human nature has a way of defusing "Headline" news at one point and then later making due with another action. The big question is financing our energy needs to produce for an ever growing economy. Our government continues to bail out where other countries leave things alone to sink or swim. Even at this writing the situations will change significantly. The even bigger question to add to this debate is how to simplify the biggest TTUS. Indicators continue to fall. This is expected. The Misery Index has not been supported to merit a total meltdown or collapse. But then again, yesterday's news is what we wake up to from across the world's actions. And the clock never stops. Value here in the US makes us vulnerable in many ways. However our ability to rebound or bounce has proven to be highly valuble as proven by headlines of the past and stock market ups and downs. The perception and expectations continue to defy all the number crunching predictions somewhat obsolete. I have scanned the internet viewing new technologies that promise energy solving solutions. These should help. Everyone is affected by the lack of energy in some form. Dealing with it is what most peole like myself are all about. Negotiations wlll continue to make influences in some areas.Until the US as well as developing countries control resources more effectively we are doomed to crisis situations. All self inflicted. But all are able to be solved. And will our leadership allow freedom to produce the needs of a growing nation? Continued discussion and proper use of technologies will help everybodies bottom line. Older technologies will have to be scraped for greener leaner producing modifications.Human beings depend on the earth we occupy.Survival has been taken for granted. We can not control Mother Nature all the time . Means of production take hours of preparation, years of dedicated individuals risking all or nothing decisions on simply a hunch or gamble. The American dream still can survive unless the threats are defused and not downplayed as nonsense. Families as well as business has been profoundly damaged recently because of the lack of transportaion.Dealing with this and making alternative plans will make a huge difference in how this country solves all of it's problems. The stresses have almost reached the boiling point. Each and everyone of us has to make our own decisions. The how's of these decisions will indicate the final outcome of that decision.
