Breathless Love
We stood together on the edge of the cliff
Wild birds circling below
Trusting, but not knowing if
Into the abyss ourselves should throw
We faced the danger of the moment without fear
Not caring that we might live or die
But plunged into the weightless air
And found instead that we could fly
