Poetry: In a rut

Looking For A Way Out

Fly softly on butterfly wings,
the winds of change.
Pushing this way, and that.
Directions new and strange.

Which path to follow?
Which way to take?
Change blowing in
for change sake?

Beset by indecision.
A step taken in haste,
the fear of disaster
and a life's waste.

Time stops, a brief moment.
No looking back, move on!
The path, once chosen,
winds off, towards the sun.
