LEGISLATORS TAKE NOTE:

SAME SEX UNIONS COULD FINANCIALLY BANKRUPT YOUR STATE

Responsibility it seems is being shifted from the people who exercise their right of free choice, to the people who conceal the harm which may result from that choice.

Tobacco companies were successfully sued for astronomical amounts because they advertised for public use a product which was proven to be physically harmful to many. In other words, they remained silent on its dangers. They were not against smokers, neither were they for smokers, they were just offering a product for sale.

MacDonalds was sued for injury because coffee was too hot; and now there is a case pending because their food causes obesity in vulnerable youth.

Yes, responsibility it seems is being shifted from the people who exercise their right of free choice, to the people who conceal the harm which may result from that choice.

By the same token, to states considering the legality of same sex marriages, if you do not wake up and take notice, you run a very good chance of being sued for your last tax dollar. Homosexual groups could be setting states up for mass tort recovery of millions because approval of same sex marriages necessarily says it is not dangerous. This could be a scheme by homosexuals to break the bank and to break the back of the taxpayers and the insurance companies. Think of the punitive damages, even for wrongful death by Aids if a state approves an activity without warning of the dangers of that activity. The scenario would be no different from the scenario established in the asbestos cases and successful cases against tobacco companies, gun companies, breast implant companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc. and those who remain silent on known but hidden dangers of something offered in an approving manner.

If, however, the state is sovereign and cannot be sued as in (the king can do no wrong(, then we are equally being set up, because that is the type of government from which many people sought relief and immigrated to America.

Lesson learned: A half truth is still a lie. And, people who know better, need to tell the whole truth. Paul Harvey says: (And now you know the REST of the story).

However, what the devil means for harm, God intends for good (Gen 50:20).

Looking to the future, we must remember that if this scenario does come to pass, homosexuality will eventually once again be banned just the same as: (a) harmful drugs once thought
