The worst movies ever

by Joseph Brown

There are bad movies, and there are disappointing movies. Bad movies are movies that just plainly suck. Disappointing movies are movies that don't nearly live up to the hype surrounding it or it's a sequel to a great movie, meaning unless it doesn't live up to the expectations then it is considered bad. I like to think of worst movies ever as a mix between the two. So I have created a list, 5 of bad movies and 5 disappointing.

IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER

Bad Movie #1
Gigli (2003)
Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez

A very bad movie. Possibly the worst. I don't even remember the storyline because it's so pointless wasting so much room in your head for a movie like this. Plainly put, THIS MOVIE SUCKS! I fell asleep in the Opening Titles! That's how bad the movie was. I tried to watch it again and I fell asleep halfway through. It took me four attempts to actually get through the movie and the storyline was uncomprehensible. I mean it was just plain stupid. Very very bad.

Bad Movie #2
Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (2004)
Jon Voight, Scott Baio

This movie can be in both categories as I actually enjoyed the first movie. But this movie is plain idiotic. In this movie, the baby geniuses find themselves at the center of a scheme led by powerful media dude Bill Biscane. Joining the babies in their battle against evil is a legendary baby named Kahuna. Kahuna is not even a name! I don't even want to mention the rest as it is pointless and you will fall asleep.

Bad Movie #3
Mac and Me (1988)
Christine Ebersole, Jonathan Ward

When I saw ads for this movie, I thought it was a remake for E.T. I was wrong. That mistake nearly cost me my life as you will see if you watch this movie. I mean the alien is strangely attracted to McDonalds?!? I mean come on! Even Michael Bay knows that and he's one of the worst directors there are (I actually enjoyed Transformers though)! The kid looks awfully un-handicapped for a handicapped little boy. Seriously don't watch this movie. The whole movie is like a promotion for Coke and McDonalds!

Bad Movie #4
Kazaam (1996)
Shaquille O'Neal

The best part of the movie was Shaq. The worst was also Shaq. He's a great basketball player. Not so good in the acting section.

Bad Movie #5
Meet the Spartans (2008)
Sean Maguire, Carmen Electra

Oh. So many movies to choose from. How can you choose the last one. This movie is practically a wannabe of the Scary Movie franchise which isn't all that great but at least it got some positive reviews. This movie was just a waste of money an the only person I know who like it was my friend Alex, who said it's his favorite movie ever. He is such an idiot. One of the worst movies ever not greatest.

Disappointing Movie #1
Jaws: The Revenge (1987)
Lorraine Gary, Lance Guest

Too many, too many! That's what I thought when I heard that Jaws 4 was coming out and I still think that. We get it already. SHARKS ARE BAD. An utter disappointment which had no hope since when it was first released. Utter failure of a movie.

Disappointing Movie #2
Shrek the Third (2007)
Mike Meyers, Cameron Diaz

Another one? I can't believe they made another one. The first two Shrek movies were wonderful but this one went down the drain. On top of that, they are planning to make two more Shrek movies. One was enough. Two pushed it. But five is gonna mean Armageddon. They've messed up the third movie so bad nobody is going to watch the fourth. I hope the co-directors Raman Hui and Chris Miller rot in hell so they don't make any more movies.

Disappointing Movie #3
The Godfather Part III (1990)
Al Pacino, Andy Garcia

Not only disappointing, but in my opinion the most disappointing movie ever. It was a decent movie with decent acting on the parts of Andy Garcia and Al Pacino, but Sofia Coppola, daughter of Francis Ford Coppola, the creator of The Godfather Movies was a HUGE disappointment. Not only was she not good looking, but her acting was also TERRIBLE! This movie would be about halfway in my list of movies best to worst but in levels of disappointment, Two Thumbs Down.

Disappointing Movie #4
Jurassic Park III (2001)
Sam Neill, William H. Macy

What could have made the best Trilogy ever to date, is a movie none other than Jurassic Park the Third. If they only spent more time developing the storyline and character development, this could have made a decent movie. I cannot say anything more about this terrible movie.

Disappointing Movie #5
Alien V.S. Predator: Requiem
Dan O'Bannon, Ronald Shusett

Oh My God. So utterly boring, bad acting, I just can't put in words how bad this movie was. Alien vs Predator was bad, but seeable. This was horrible. Not just disappointing, horrible.

Honourable Mentions (More like Dishonourable)
I am Legend (All Will Smith movies really)
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Rocky V (Which we all pretend never screened)
Pearl Harbor
