Poetry: Schizophrenia

Reality

Sea of faces
Misty places
Voices in my head

Screamin' at me
Tearin' at me
Wishin' I was dead

Twisted memories
Tumblin' down
Rainbow graphics
All around

Whispering souls
In a sea of foam
I lost my soul
And I lost my home

Tumblin' faces dead and cold
I see them scream
But I don' hold
Cos I don't hear them
Is this a dream?

Comin' at me
Tortured souls
See them cry
As they fall through holes

Into their
Electric chair
Getting' shocks
But do you care?

Watch them
Bloat
In black an' blue
This ain't no home
It's a human zoo.

Sea of faces
Misty places
Voices in my head

Screamin' at me
Tearin' at me
Wishin' I was dead
