Reality
Sea of faces
Misty places
Voices in my head
Screamin' at me
Tearin' at me
Wishin' I was dead
Twisted memories
Tumblin' down
Rainbow graphics
All around
Whispering souls
In a sea of foam
I lost my soul
And I lost my home
Tumblin' faces dead and cold
I see them scream
But I don' hold
Cos I don't hear them
Is this a dream?
Comin' at me
Tortured souls
See them cry
As they fall through holes
Into their
Electric chair
Getting' shocks
But do you care?
Watch them
Bloat
In black an' blue
This ain't no home
It's a human zoo.
Sea of faces
Misty places
Voices in my head
Screamin' at me
Tearin' at me
Wishin' I was dead

Poetry: Schizophrenia
Hideous voices
whispering through
the cracks of a broken mind.

thoughts
memories
dreams.
The remaining
Why a gun at night?
Invading monsters
Attack the right
Flank of my brain
I stay up wondering
Of well, you know…
The voices command Bradley to the phone
A dozen times a day he listens to a dial tone
Before punching in a number by rote
To
SOLITUDE.
You know nothing
of Schizophrenia,
They all start asking,
"What's got into ya";
and you wonder-
what's wrong with
by Jon Coe
Plunging headlong into your catatonic state
our relationship and future, compromised by fate
I watch you sitting, in a world
