I Wait in Silence
I waited in silence,
As the moments pass by.
Too mournful to weep,
Too cast down to cry.
The weight of the world,
Seems upon me cast.
Fearful of the future,
Chained in by the past.
I am languishing in limbo,
By these thoughts of you.
My heart has been ravaged,
My soul's been pierced through.
The world that I knew,
Is eternally altered.
My road now a ruin,
My feet doomed to falter
Nothing remains for me,
But the mad rush of time.
Sweeping me onward,
Stunned, broken and blind.
Only one thing can help me,
Just one thing remains.
In the darkness I reach towards it
In it's hope I'm sustained.
I wait in silence,
As the moments pass by.
Too mounful to weep,
Too cast down to cry.

like just before an earthquake,
a dog howled and a flock of seagulls
flew from above
She wanders, lost and reeling
In a place she once called home
She wonders why she's feeling
So unloved, so alone
She has a loving
