The Story of a Life
I feel the words in my fingers
The thoughts ready in my head
My pen, ink on its tip.
Scribbles away with out end
The thoughts of having someone near me
Someone who knows
A person I might hold dearly
And confide all my deepest woes
So the story begins, a lady and her companion
Each trying to make it right
My pen scribbles forward
Words, emotions, the story of a life
Each character I regard in my mind
As someone I may hold close
The story, the places become my solace
For thoughts no one knows
My scribbling continues
Ringing all my dreams alive
Pages turn over and over
With the passion that is burning inside
"The End" closes the last chapter
of the book that tells a tale
my satisfaction lies bound, the companions
found in one another, a true love that will prevail.
