Poetry: Blessed

by Jessica Pressley

Created on: July 11, 2008

I'm Blessed
I'm blessed by the whole creation of my being
A "J" and a "P" is a symbol of my greeting
I'm blessed by the rain that falls on my cloths
It tinkles down my spine and back through toes
I'm blessed by the sun that revealed its face
Last week it rained so amazing grace
I'm blessed that i stand out all around town
People greet with a frown and others with a sound
I'm blessed that i can't complete this saying
what goes up must be heavy laden
I'm blessed by the bees that buzz around my face
they know that this body is a crystal vase
I'm blessed by the haters that pursue my fame
they know only one kid can win this game
I'm blessed that my action aren't truly my ways
My mom said girl, you're going through a phase
I'm blessed y'all, I'm blessed
