Half Percent
Stone by stone,
Brick by brick,
I shall disassemble this barricade.
This stone curtain to the true me.
I languish in human cares.
I hear my soul screaming far off distant cries.
Pleading to be released,
My rationale, tainted by this world.
Like so many others,
I have succumbed to the earthly,
The physical...
99-1/2 % normal...
But I never have been, nor will I ever be.
And in that, I take comfort at least.
My 1/2 percent is my continuing struggle.
to attain and ascend a deeper understanding
of my self and of others.
Open eyes, and rubbled barricades,
O, the sight and sound of an imagined day,
where this and come to pass.

Tunnel vision,
see the world,
dogmatic and unbending.
