The Loving Suns
Like the ancient Druids before me
Who worshipped their nature gods -
Highest among them, Sol,
Our nearest star, our sun -
I bow down before your mysterious works.
When you are near me I'm healed by your warmth
And I smile contentedly in your light.
When you are far from me the night comes coldly
And the darkness leaves me more alone
Than I ever was before I met you.
There is a hidden magic that you emit
That makes me grow as a person and become
More fruitful in all of my endeavors -
A hidden magic that improves
My quality, my health, my flavor.
So like the Druids with their Sol,
I want to give thanks for all your gifts to me.
What can I give in return? How can I show my love
For all you've done fo me? Let me be
Your healing warmth. Let me be the light
That makes you smile. Let me be the magic
That helps you grow and improve your
Quality of life. Let us be
Each other's loving sun.
End.

Once upon a midnight kiss
came one fortnight of dreamlike bliss,

I stand before you on a starlit night,
Your twinkling eyes are a beautiful sight.
