Poetry: Fear

by Salone Frazier

Created on: July 11, 2008

There's little time for me hear, thats what I fear
Being unhappy without my family, thats what I fear
Can't concentrate on the important things in life, thats what I fear
Looking for love all over with know good results, thats what I fear
Knowing that I will be hurt if I let someone into my life, thats what I fear

Just taking my time with little time left, thats what I fear
Listening to friends brag about love, that's what I fear
Keeping my thoughts to myself when it hurts me so, thats what I fear
Not being a mother by time I hit twenty nine, thats what I fear
People staring me down in the post office, thats what I fear

I try to be patient knowing time is not on my side, thats what I fear
Creating a smile around my friends when I hurt inside, thats what I fear
Show no emotion when I look in the mirror at myself, thats what I fear
Stressing out about my weight, thats what I fear
Then I think about being alone in bed with no one to hold, and I start crying tears
Being all by myself is truly what I fear
