Fifty years ago, homosexuality was considered an absolute abomination. Even twenty years ago it was taboo for anyone to admit they were gay. Yet today, homosexuality is not only accepted but is encouraged. One could even make a case for it being stuffed down our throats. Turn on the TV and at any given time you can find a show with homosexual characters. Many of our movies now either have homosexual content if not a homosexual theme. Tonight I was watching "So You Think You Can Dance" and their guest singer was a female who performed a song "I kissed a girl and I liked it."

The current feeling by the majority of those who are not gay is that as long as they don't push it on them, they don't care. Yet it is pushed upon us. I personally know someone whom I care about very very much, who has always been against homosexuality, now say she is a lesbian. She was not born gay. She has had boyfriends. But she got mixed in with the wrong crowd and she has been converted. She has cut her long beautiful hair short to look like a boy. She now wears clothes that make her look ugly. This girl who once was very beautiful, I can hardly look at her now. This is where I will say homosexuality has truly crossed the line and accepting it has become a problem.

The fact is, the more ANYTHING is promoted, the more people who will do it. As wrong as pedophilia is, if it was ever promoted as much as homosexuality is, we would be overrun with pedophiles. If beastiality was promoted as much there would be many who would get into it. Many may say no way but I will give a very simple example and if one stops and thinks, they will see how it works. Smoking cigarettes! Yes, thats what I said and please hear me out. A long time ago it was excusable for people to pick up smoking. At one time doctors actually said it was healthy to smoke. Today however, there is no excuse whatsoever. We all, and I mean everybody, knows it is very bad for your health. We know people are dying because of it. At least 99% of the time, I am sure there are the occasional freaks, that anyone picks up smoking these days is peer pressure. They want to look cool with their friends. Especially with teens, if their friends do something they will try it too. If they find out their friends have become gay, they are more likely to try it once themselves. Then if it feels good, pow they are gay!

Many might say, whats so bad about that? For one thing it is all the stress, the suffering and the shame it brings upon their family.
