I retain the same view on the girls gone wild series as I do pertaining a majority of the porn industry. On one hand as an adult, I have to say honestly that most of us at one time or another indulge our carnal side. Some of us to ogle those on tape, and some of us mostly women, to try to educate ourselves and what men possibly can find so entertaining about these over fantisized lack of acting abbility porn stars. Men like porn stars but some do not realize most these women are playing a part to be paid. Slut dressed in practically anything create cash that is all there is to it. That is a formula for some peoples business including this 'girls gone wild'.
As a woman, I do not condone this series. I do not like the fact that the commercials are repetetive after a certain time of night either. The fact is during the weekend I dare not let the kids stay up and watch a late movie in leui of having no school due to that we might experience these commercials three or four times in an hour after a certain time.
It is not as if they are glorifying forgive my expression 'seasoned sluts'. They are promoting and exploiting women that are young. It also conveys to college men that any woman will get wasted, take off her top and make out with her other women friends.
As a parent, I admit though it is not unlawful for them to create them, I do not like the fact that most of these women are young. There is a short hike from 16 years old to 18 years old, and some predators know that. Also, they do not in any way convey that these women are honestly in danger of being taken advantage of by predators. Not that the porn industry is about awareness or education. The only education they want you to have is to understand how much they charge and how to present payment. If they only had the commercials for these raunchy videos on the late night channels or satelite channels that I do not order anyways, I would have less room to complain. If they were on the Penthouse channel, I would never know they existed. It is not something I watch.
I do not think its a good image to exploit women that are barely legal, nor to have it done under the heavy excess of drugs or alcohol. Is there much difference to a snuff film? A snuff film is set up on purpose in a certain way and from history's accounts they usually exploit or trap the victim into performing these things. 'Girls gone wild' knowingly goes out and films in areas where barely legal girls are going to go partying. Are men that sick
