Why does Islam or Muslims people don't eat pork meat? Why does Islam forbid the eating of pork?

I think most people know that Muslims people are not allowed to eat pork. In their own words, they call it Haram, so they have to avoid eating those meat. But I am not sure if people also know why they can not eat pork meat.

As far as I know, it's according to their Al Qur'an, pork is prohibited to consume because they can categorized pork meat as meat which come from dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah.

So I don't think that it's correct when people said that Muslims people are not allowed to eat meat because pig is sacred and is worshiped as God in Islam.

If prohibited to eat pork is not only from Holy Qur'an of Muslims people, in the Christian Bible, if you read carefully, you will find in the Bible about this pork meat too. Try to check your Deuteronomy 14:8 from your Bible, you will find this : " The pig also because it is a splitter of the hoof but there is no cud. It is unclean for you. None of their flesh must you eat and carcass you must not touch. "

Beside of that,Islam forbid to eat pork is also can be looked from other reasons. if you look from medical aspect, there are few reasons too that make pork meat become a second choice of meat when you want to eat.
From pork meat, there are some parasitic or gems that can be found, and it can transfer to human body who eat the pork meat which also can harm the people who eat it.
Some gems or parasitic that can be found in pork meat are :

- Pork tape worms
- Trichina worms
- Round worms
- Balatitidium Coli and many more.

Also have other disease as well that can be found because of eating pork meat. So there is evidence that can be found that eating pork harm and disruption to our physical health also adversely affects our mental and spiritual well being.

There are many more reason why the Muslims are not eating pork, but basically the Muslims just follow their Holy Qur'an as mentioned above about the prohibited to eat pork.

Me, my self is not a Muslim, but some of my family are Muslims, so the explanation above are mostly came from them. Of course they don't eat pork meat as well. I do eat pork meat sometimes, but I always try to consume it as less as I can. Why? Because I try to avoid the dangers of eating pork meat for medical reasons.
