Soccer conditioning and warm-up

As im sure anyone reading this article can tell you, Soccer conditioning and warm ups are the most important factor in becoming a good soccer player. I have devised this essay in two sections, based on points of view. The first section will be based on a players point of view and how to condition him or herself, and propper or useful warmups. The second will be a coach or trainer's perspective on how to shape his team to be the very best it can be through conditioning and warm ups.

PLAYERS PERSPECTIVE:

As a player it should be well understood that you cant get any better without practice. That being said, here are a few things you can do to be in the best possible soccer playing condition;

First, and what i think is the most important, is endurance training. This would mean how long you can run for. Easiest way to trian this is just to go on casual runs around the block, or on the treadmill. Also another way to personally improve your soccer endurance is to try and see if you can play more then one game in a day without being too tired by the second game, if you can do this you should definately be in good enough condition to do well in a regular game. There's really no other way to improve endurance then simply staying active everyday, and not getting out of shape before your next match.

Second, would be other fundamentals such as ball control and positioning. Things like this definately need to be practiced, but there is no better way to practice this then on the soccer pitch. For ball control there is many ways to practice, just learning to get a better touch on the ball by learning to sidestep with the ball or just passing around with fellow soccer players. Also it helps if your able to kick up a soccer ball well, because this will help you get a very light yet controlled touch on the ball. Positioning can be learned in practice, just simply by practicing 1-2 passes, and things like that. Again its easiest to learn on the pitch, but a player should always enter a game knowing exactly where he should be. Its easiest to score goals with short well positioned passes then trying something fancy.

COACH OR TRAINER'S PERSPECTIVE:

Well the difference between this perspective and the last, is this is what a coach should set up in practices and games so that the players dont have to figure out these things for themselves. Coaches are vital to a team, its very important to know how to train your team to be the best it can be;

Endurance training for soccer players should
