Poetry: Romantic pain

Moonless Night

The bedroom is bathed in a grain yellow light
spilling down the hallway like a following trail
The parted door,
The sounds of evening,
Like bidding words, they fill my ears
and I consent to follow
All without a moon tonight
Only a million stars
The deep colored greens on the slope of a hill
winding their way to the steam
She is a figure of hurt
a sorrow standing still
in the middle of this moonless night
Alone on a limestone bridge
And she gathers her strength with a breath
Like falling stars they leave her hand,
the sonnet and rose of my hearts giving
Peacefully floating like a blinding truth
Her tears like pleading words, they fill my ears
and I consent to travel
And I can hear the gravel parting underfoot
With the sounds of her cries falling softer
with each step

    For some reason,
    I thought you'd care.

No hope inside a wishing star,
I'll test my faith in you,
    Lost in the dark,
    but now my heart,
    it beats for someone new,
    I'm lost

    A Day Without An End

And the stars began to swirl
    As they never had before
    A gateway through a keyhole
    A slowly creaking door
    And
