When selecting a patio furniture set there are several necessary questions one needs to think through first, before making the final decision to purchase.

1. Whether the Patio furniture set is for inside the home, outside, or near a flower garden. Paying strict attention to the materials used, which make up the set is important. Will the material the set is made-up of with stand the weather.

2. Having sufficient amount of space for the patio furniture set, needs to be recognized. You want to be able to move the chairs of the set easily when getting into and out of them. We are more at ease and find it less frustrating when there is sufficient amount of space when using the chairs.
3. Who will be using the furniture and what purpose is the set intended for? The importance of this question allows the purchaser to recognize whether the width and height of the chairs accommodate those who will be using the patio furniture set.
4. The height of the patio furniture set needs to be thought-out. Bar height chairs are high off the floor or ground and if the main purpose of the patio set, is for small children, carefully think about this concern. Consider the safety of small children when you have bar height chairs in mind. Especially pay close attention if you have chosen to put your patio furniture set on concrete or any another hard surface. Falling out of a chair that is setting on a concrete surface is a hard fall for a child or anyone for that matter.
5. Comfort is an issue for all of us. Whether inside or outside, sitting comfortably at your patio furniture set surely makes a big difference. Feeling comfort when using a set contributes to ones decision of how often and useful the patio furniture set will become. If it is not comfortable, you and others may tend to shy away from the patio furniture. However, if comfortable and relaxing, you may find yourself using the furniture more frequently.
6. Upkeep and cleaning of patio furniture needs to be taken into consideration also. Do you want the option of easily cleaning your furniture, or are you looking for something carefree?
