Poetry: Mother

by Andrew Case

Created on: July 10, 2008

Mother, a reflection of her soul.

Standing tall even though the world towers above her.

Beautiful creature, wonderful sister

A gift given to me from the Creator.

She made me her little creation.

To the womb I held tight,

Birthed into the light.

Placed in arms that would cause no harm.

My everything in the times I've felt like nothing.

Mother, my support, my heart...

Angel in disguise, you did more than heal physical scars

And kiss away the bump on my head.

My first love, first crush.

God blessed me with my Mother.
