Time ticks by so slowly
for those who just watch and wait;
Minute by minute, second by second
as it gradually slips away.
Always dreaming and wishing for better things

Before they have time to realize what's happening
the end hovers above their heads;
And they wish they had given up wishing
and lived each day to its' fullest instead.
