"The Moon Knows Me"
The moon knows me
It follows me through summer filled meadows
Dark brooding woods, tangled in lush splendor
Woods barren, cold and childless
As is the moon, as is I
The moon knows me,
It slides on the breeze, quiet and ancient
Haunting those dead, those living
Watching
Waiting, as I do
The moon knows me
Veil of light
Veil of dark
Veil of the summer wood
Veil of shadows, as I am
The moon knows me
Smoke rises slowly from ruby chimneys
Rising like ghosts of the dead
Rising arms up stretched to the unknown
Sweet void of nothing, as is I
The moon knows me
Dark, dreamless
Gnawing the sorrowful soul
Waiting for the last breath
Waiting for the first, as I do
The moon knows me

Shadows of the night
Somewhere in a distant dream,
stood two shadows of the night.
At the edge of split perception,
being bathed
Absent light
Stains on a wall
Take human form
But twist, Distort
They move and dance
But have no life
Hollow imposters
Shadows in the Night
Shadows haunting in the night.
Playing games in the moonlight.
Keeping all the shapes I see
Deep within
As I gaze into the light of night
Shadows emerge upon my sight
Some bring thoughts of sheer delight
Some are scary in gruesome

Shadow Tag - A Childhood Memory
Whispers of footsteps cross my grassy path,
As I kneel in the shadows in the full moonlight.
