Is Iran's nuclear threat of any concern to us?

An existential threat of nuclear destruction from Iran of a few U.S. cities some day is something Obama can live with perhaps after he sits down face to face with the President of Iran and learns from the horse's mouth that he is a peace loving guy. With an extra trillion added to the national debt (Obama helped) to bail out corrupt banks it will be more difficult to spend on middle eastern wars it is believed. Oy Vey-we shall see.

'Is Iran's nuclear threat, of any concern to us' is the title for this thread. The implicit premise is that Iran has a nuclear threat. So one must ask in the first place if a nuclear threat is more serious than other threats, and serious enough to be of a concern to 'us'.

Scientists have discovered after substantially meaningful research that 1 in 4 mammals is facing extinction and that the numbers are in decline of at least half. With those statistics a nuclear threat by Iran to 'us' indicates a healthy compliance to declining habitat criteria for mammals of which humanity is included in the 'us' category. Previously habitat destruction by fossil fuel economic phenomena such as drilling, development, spilling, exhaust emissions and road building were considered as minor contributors to the decline of the prospects for continuing mammalian life on Earth, now it is considered a contributor to sociological retardation as well driving intelligent economic design out of the classrooms and in to the power of doom of global oil corporations.

Recent raving trends have encouraged globalization of economics and dissolution of national political power and design rationality concurrent with proliferation of oil based manufactures and make work occupations stock- by oil power. Iran's choice to become a nuclear threat is a fundamental mistake in political response to the traditional military supremacy of the west over the historical crusading powers of expansionist Islam. While America is retarding its continuing energy and technological progress in favor of oil products from abroad-having scraped and licked the bottom of its can of cake frosting yet remaining addicted to the ambrosiastic natural product supplied like Caspian Sea caviar from abroad to satisfy the expensive tastes of fossil fuel powered C.E.O.'s and S.U.V. drivers in the U.S.A. Iran should have developed alternate energy power systems and simply disregarded the west's nuclear hegemony while it prospered domestically. The United States is already outsourcing its industrial bases to
