In today's society or trend, global warming is something that some people will excuse because of the money their making. Although, if they have children they must think about what kind of world are we leaving them with? Some say that it doesn't even exist. Well it's been prov-en by all of the tragic events over 2005 and 2006. Our earth is warming from all of the ice melting in the North pole and in the Antarctic. If the United States don't pull together and do something, then who's to say that in ten more years that the worst catastrophe in our earth's history could happen.

Politicians want us all to believe that there is nothing to worry about, but tell that to the hundreds of Polar bears dying because they cant reach the distance in order to rest. They have been drowning, the ice is so far and few between. We all need to live for the future, after all this world is left to our children. Is it better to be rich now, than for your grandchildren to be in a catastrophe that is bound to happen. The year of 2005 was the record breaking hottest weather in many different regions in the world. If we don't get a grip, than our world will not even be here for our children. This would be a shame to our generation, knowing we could have done something to help our environment in order to keep global warming from devastating our whole world. Africa is suffering right now- to the extent that the largest lake is now just mud. Other places have depleted there water by trying to immigrate the soil through the river water. Which is now depleted, just old ships and sand are found there now. If we don't learn the step in helping how can we help.

1.) unplug all electricity not being used: like toaster ovens, microwaves, dryers, washers, curling irons, anything that used electricity.
2.) Buy the energy efficient light bulbs, they really save you money in the long run, and they last longer.
3.) Buy a cover for your hot water tank.
4.) Use a clock type thermostat, that you can set for when you not at home.
5. Recycle- cans, plastics, and holiday cars that are recyclable.
6. Plant a tree. More Oxygen!

Now if the United States people can't do this much then we are in a world of hurt. Really believing about Global warming is just something that you must open your eyes to, think about our earth ten years from now then ask yourself- What should I have done? Well, do you believe?
