Daydreaming
In the middle of English
My mind begins to wander
To a land of forests and magicks
Mountains and adventure
In this land of danger and action
I can be the chivalrous knight
Always fighting for good and winning
Tournaments on my horse named lightning
Maybe I could be the rouge
Living off my wits and speed
That sounds like the best
Except for lack of noble steed
Better yet, the life of a Magus
Harnessing the power of nature
However there are many laws
Forbidding magic to the immature
Or even better, I could be a dragon
Terrizing people and breathing fire
Or at least I could if I hadn't
Been interrupted by the teacher, Mrs. Parker

A five-minute break, to catch my breath,
(halfway up a mountain in the Arochar Alps, Scotland):
Ahead of me, I see a blue
Daydreams.
Often in a quiet time I let my mind drift,
To places that I've never gone;
Dreaming dreams of great heroic deeds,

Eyes open wide
Eyes wide open and in my mind
treasures of a heartfelt love I find
The softness of your hands I feel
steady
Whenever it got tough on the outside
An always ajar door on the inside
Would invite her further in

Daydreams
Come in a million
To earn millions
But none of them
Open the gates
Of the rich
Mama wakes
Me up
From the veranda
Why don't
