We once played dress up
And House
"Daddy's Little Girl"
I once put clips
In your hair
I once cooked you food
With pink play-do
We once brought home
A secret bag of candy
I once
Was your little girl'
And you once
Were my Father.
Now the dream has ended
Tea parties over
And trust broken.
I am no longer your little girl'.
Just a young woman
Who you so carelessly hurt.

For Daddies and Their Little girls
when you look at your little girl
do you remember how much you loved your mom
and how she
A hand to hold.
A heart of gold.
Skipping beside him.
Loving to be with him.
Proud of his little joy.
Buying her favorite toy.
Watching
by Jane Healy

She relied upon her Mum.
But now she’s five
And so alive,
The ‘Daddy days’
