Public transportation should be free for the elderly, disabled and the kids trying to get to and from school.

Now people who work everyday for a living and do not drive to work their company should have some type of program that every month to whom ever wants to use this service should pay X amount of dollars and the company paids the rest so these people ride at a reduce rate. Now the people who don't want to ride the bus I feel they should not have to pay anything into this program. By trying to reduce all these harmful fume in the air, cutting down on some of the road rage and just hopful cutting some stress from their day every company should be jumping on the band wagon trying to start this type of program. Just think even if half of some of these business do this it will not cost much, less gas, fewer people missing work and the roads not as congestived. By doing this hopfully cutting stress, their empolyees just might get more things done doing the day with a smile.

Now way I feel that elderly should not have to pay to ride the bus. If you have every look around on the bus and seen this eldery people on the bus half the time they are fishing in their pockets and bags trying to find enough to paid for a ride and don't let them be a nickle or dime short shoo a penny and some bus drivers tell them to pay the rest or get off. I have seen this happen to some of the elderly who don't have their permit with them and the bus driver is ready to put them off the bus. Now to me that is stright out wrong you just seen this person put their money in and cause they are a penny short or don't have a permit you are ready to put the off the bus.

No why it is a good idea for the young people that are trying to get to and from school they should not have to pay a fare. Not every school provides bus service and for those who don't and their student are trying to get to school they should be able to ride the bus for free. For what ever reason they were not able to get bus fare they will at lest know that they will be able to get to and from school every school day. The public can look at it like now there is no reason for you to say you are not in school today cause you didn't have the bus fare to get there. These young people will know that no matter what they will be able to get to school and get home every school day. For those parents who drive their kids to school will now have an choice to either drive or let there kids ride the bus.

I believe it would be a win win for ever one with the way some cost of living is going up the elderly could use all the help they can get. The young people would have no reason not to be in school every day. Big and small company can give a helping hand to their empolyees.
