Poetry: Walking with God

by Carmelo Piparato

Created on: July 09, 2008

My Thanks a whole bunch
To all with a hunch
That they knew what I tried here to say

I have no doubt
What's it's all about
Before I lay down now I'll pray

I'll pray for the sinners
The losers and winners
To awake to another new day

When it's all said and done
I'll count on the one
Who I know will not lead me astray

Call him what you want
Was the point in my font
Its not black or whitemore like gray

I may leave you with doubt
Of just what I'm about
It is what it isit's My way

Please don't be offended
For not once I pretended
I just leave you with something to weigh

I'll sleep well tonight
Knowing my worlds alright
My words are not meant here to sway

Your thoughts and belief
Are not minewhat relief
Love for all hope's what I do portray
