Snappy spinach dip for family reunions/parties gets rave reviews from all ages. It is the dip that disappears first and even the kids love it. At coffee hour and church suppers everyone wants the recipe.
Snappy Spinach Dip
1 package frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
1 cup fat free mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1 package vegetable soup mix
1/2 cup chopped basil
Cook and drain spinach
Mix all other ingredients well
Add and blend with spinach
Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight
Take out of refrigerator 1 hour before serving
Best served at room temperature.
