How to organize your household

the coffee, peanut butter, beige scheme with red in the persian rug, and red accessories, and a red tone elsewhere. The green comes in through the outdoors since we have a wooded area around the home. Each one needs to determine their color scheme.

Now we need to think about storage. Every home needs storage. Ask yourself these questions: Do I have adequate shelf space in the closets? Do I need to add more shelves? Do I need to add storage shelves in the garage? If you have a walk in closet, you can make maximum use of space, and fill up every nook and cranny with things for storage. You can add shelves easily if necessary. Home Depot, Lowes and other stores, have different systems for storage. There is a variety of shelf types you may find useful in your home. You may find it better to get a storage hut for the backyard. They are relatively inexpensive, and could eliminate the need to fill up your close or garage. You can use boxes, containers and fill up the space leaving just a trail to get in and out to add or remove things. I would not use this space for storing clutter. Again, clutter needs to go, period. Clutter is the enemy.

Now for the functionality within the home. This may call for rearranging furniture, and features. Make sure you have a desk/office space in an appropriate location. Lighting is a big consideration, yet you don't want to be right by the window that gets direct sunlight for much of the hot summer's day. Have a place for depositing mail to be opened at some giving time. Have an area to deposit shoes when coming into the home. I keep the shoes in a shoe wrack in the garage, so as to free the foyer from shoes being in the way. Having a specific place for everything is super important. I have a place just for pins, paper, newspapers, shoes, notices, blankets, so forth. I know how to find something if I need it since i am consistent about where I put things. The rule of consistency will make homelife much better. If I need to replace a battery, get a bag, get a rag for cleaning, I know exactly where to go. If you change places for these things, life gets confusing, and disorderly. Again, the key is making Order heaven's first law.

Bringing a fresh green plant into the home can improve air quality, and add healthy odors into the home, and filter out other odors. Also, a touch of green here and there brings nature into the home. Green is the color of nature, and is a relaxing, peaceful color.

Foul odors can originate in the refrigerator, garbage
