Just A Glimpse Of You:
I had often wondered how old people could become so cynical of life and all it's wonders...
How they could loose faith in God... and loose sight of love... Now as I face the crossroads
of time and age... I can see how easy it is to choose the path of disillision and
hopelessness... I could look back at the journey I had traveled... the painting of my life I
was leaving behind and I could see all of my failures... my lost loves... the broken promises
of family and friends... I could see the hurt in a childs eyes, whose innocence was lost
and taken... And I saw the anguish of a soul that seemed incapable of love... The further I
looked back into the past, I could see all the darkness that had enveloped my life and this
world and that had hardened my heart... But as I once again looked forward to the paths
that lay before me... I saw not only the path of the dark days to come... but a not so
visable path of light... a path of hope and of virtue... of passion and of love.. of honesty
and of purity... A path you cannot see nor find without the courage and willingness to take a
chance on life... A path full of colors I had never imangined possible... a path of healing
and of restoration... one that can take a crushed broken heart full of hurt... doubt...
and loneliness and once again fill it with the amazing wonderment of God... with the capacity
to see and feel all the beauty that he had bestowed upon all he created... Your voice...
the whisper that God used to help guide my heart... my soul back to this path of light... A
path I would have never found if not for a small glimpse of hope I found in you... Your
love... your beauty... your spirit... this path to salvation...this closing of a chapter...
the turning of a page... the start of my second half of life... for me... Begins and ends
with just a glimpse of you... I love you...

ice white clouds flew upon my head
And sadness had me enveloped

kicks you around...
this is what you must do,
to find your direction-
