Our Fall
We once awoke
To have C Notes Singing on the Air
and Brightening our Day
But The String Broke
The Cords Screeched
The Cocophony almost tuneless
Till He came,

Our Broken Voices,
The Strings Streched to Tight
Cried Far Into The Night
And He Played For Us

He Pulled His Ivory Bow
Across the Worn Out
Strings,
His Song Cut Us,
Tore Us, and Our Last Song
Sounded Something Like This.
