Training a dog can be a hard but fun experience. There are a few things to know before you train a dog.

1. A puppy is the best to train but a dog can be trained at any age. 2. Older dogs are just as good at learning. 3. Be ready have treats and clickers handy, don't want to be on a rush. 4. Be friendly to a dog before you train it or it will not like training. 5. Never be mean for the wrong reasons.

Now that you know what to be ready with the training starts. The way to train is easy if you follow a few steps.

1. Use the treats to show a dog when they did a trick correctly using the clicker the same. 2. Say the trick name every time you try to get the dog to do the trick but reward him/her when they o it right. 3. Be very nice to the dog and if it doesn't do the trick wrong don't try to injure it just don't reard it.

So you are ready to learn how to teach the dog so this is how to teach it sit, down, and shake.

-sit-

1. Show the dog the treat. 2. Have the dog watch it for a second. 3. While saying sit push the treat towards the dogs eyes. 4. If the dog sits reward it by clicking the clicker and feeding the treat while rubbing and loving the dog.

-down-

1. Get the dog into the sit position. 2. Again get the dog mesmerized on the treat. 3. Lower the treat to the ground while saying down. 4. if the dog goes down congratulate them the same way with sit.

-shake-

1. Get the dog into the sit again. 2. Say shake while putting your hand out. 3. If the dog doesn't do it take the hand and stick it into the hand thats out. 4. If it does then congratulate them the same way as before.

Congratulations you have taught your dog to sit, down, and shake. With these tricks you have learned a basic way to teach dogs tricks by: showing the treat to get the it's attention, say the name while making the command, and congratulating on a good job. A dog needmost of these things to learn tricks even for the most advanced tricks. Even a dog gets nervous so practice, practice, practice til the does i just on command. Some dogs like beguls have a strong sense of smell and will do a trick just for food. Ohers need all the lovin that they could get. A dog is man's best friend so treat hem like you would treat man. So get out there, get a dog, give it the joy of being your dog, and teach it all the tricks it will take.
