The Beatles were the most influential rock band to come out of the sixties. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr put their best foot forward in 1962 when they came over to the United States. I remember sitting in front of the television watching them on Ed Sullivan, even though that wasn't the first showcasing of the group. i remember an earlier preformance on Jack Par's Tonight Show. Although the band was created in 1956, the Beatles, as we know them became a force in 62.
After the break up in 1972, although it was over in 1969, the Beatles went on their sperate ways. Ringo made his solo debut in 1968, with an album filled with old standards. The songs the Beatles put out as solo artists in 1971, 72, and 73, were basically songs that the Beatles as a group turned down as a Beatle song. If they were to create one last recording for all to enjoy this would be the unofficial Beatles album.
The Beatles, Savill Row
Come and Get it- Paul McCartney
It Don't Come Easy- Ringo Starr
Maybe Im Amazed-Paul McCartney
Jealous Guy- John Lennon
That is All- George Harrison
Crippled Inside- John Lennon

Goodbye- Paul McCartney
I know it is all fantasy, but most of these songs can be found with the Beatles playing them. John Lennon, was shot down in 1980, in front of his apartment, and that put an end of all the roumors that they would get back together. George does a few years back having brain cancer, leaving Ringo and Paul to carry on the music.
I personally have in my collection some of the work found on solo albums done by the Beatles
Not Guilty, George Harrison,
Teddy Boy- Paul McCartney
Come and Get it- Paul McCartney
Child of Nature (Jealous Guy) John Lennon
It Don't Come Easy- Ringo Star
and a whole bunch more. It is funny, the other day I was listening to the radio and the personalities were talking about the most overrated bands in history. The said, "The Beatles didn't know how to play their instruments and wrote bad music." Thet statement floored me. Needless to say, I don't listen to these so called personalities any more, I listen to 'The Beatles and more great music. I often think of that statement. I am reminded of one simple fact, it is now 1008 and we are still talking about these kings of rock and roll.
