COME WALK WITH ME
Come walk with me along this path to light
While I bare the contents of my soul,
Revealing scars of wounds long since healed
When I basked in unfettered freedom to do.
Making mistakes through consequential omissions.
Come walk with me along this path to freedom,
While I hold tenaciously to this belief of I CAN,
Turning pain to joy. My mind's ethos are transformed, and
Damaging contumacious thoughts no longer prevail.
My strengths instruct, reinforce and allow for my liberty.
Come walk with me along this path to happiness,
While I reveal to you the softer sides of me.
I will unveil for you the many coated layers of me,
When I distrusted and acted on many levels of aggressions.
Today, I invite you inside to see the gentleness in my soul.
Come walk with me along this path to spiritual awareness,
Where the ever presence of God's beauty surrounds us,
Where His love illuminates, enlightens and edifies,
Allowing His mighty power to permeate our inner beings,
Reconciling forever, His eternal sovereignty in our lives.
