Your hopes for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie

Fans of the Harry Potter series are counting down the days until the release of the next chapter hits the big screen. I am certainly no exception to the rule. I became a fan of the wonderful world of Harry Potter when the first book was released. When this occurred I was about the same age as Harry was in the book. Now that I am about twice as old as I was, I am more than twice the fan. My love of this series has grown with every book and movie release.

While I am always an advocate of the "the book is always better," philosophy I am still a fan of the movies. There is something about seeing and hearing the world you have imagined that is quite exciting. The previous movies in the series are still some of my favorites even though I have watched each of them many times. I am sure that the newest installment will become a fast favorite as well.

I feel that each of the movies have captured the essence of the books while still being able to maintain the under 3 hour time limit. Out of all of the books, this particular installment was one of the most difficult for me and other fans to complete. It was so intense and departed greatly from the other books. If you thought that Harry Potter was becoming a series for adults before this installment you will find your suspicions confirmed with this latest movie. It is this very nature of the story that should make for an excellent movie going experience.

I firmly believe that it is difficult to make a horrible movie when you have great material to work with. As with all of her books, Jo Rowling has filled this story with action, suspense, humor, and finally romance. This installment of the series should hold some horrifying, some hilarious, and some heart wrenching scenes. I do have to say that this particular book was one of the most intensely emotional of the series. With such a great story to work with it would be hard to not make a wonderful movie.

The same director for the last movie has returned and all of the major cast members have also returned for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. This should also make for a fantastic movie. I thought that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was a great movie and now the group of individuals responsible for what we see on the screen has had another year to grow together.

The lead trio of actors (Daniel Radcliff, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson) has truly grown over the years in size and talent. It has been amazing to see their progression throughout the years. They
