What about the first dance, they all ask!
The first dance should be something special and something that he will remember always. More than likely the woman will remember the little things. And the man will be saying, what?
So keep it simple, use the song that you had your first slow dance, if you are being traditional and your first any song if you are just doing the damn thing. This is something that really works.
My first marriage I could not remember the first song we ever dance. However, my husband remembered it very well. We had our reception at a neighborhood lounge and he waited two or three song before he requested our song. He was waiting to see if I would remember. Well I did not remember and he was a little pissed, but the reception went on. Our first dance was that of Minnie Rippaton, Back Down Memory Lane, I was his second wife. I guess this was not a good example, sense our marriage did not last 9 months, but he remember the song and that is what he wanted.
My second marriage song was the Chilites, Oh Girl. This was the first dance we had, when his brother played it on a jukebox one night. He had told his brother in-law how much he liked me, and that he did not know how to approach me. His brother played the song and dared him to ask me to dance. I danced with him and love fell in my lap. Even today, he remembers the song and we are the best of friends. We can talk about anything and still love each other deeply.
Number 3 husband song was Marvin Gaye, Let's Make Love Tonight. All because, we both were Marvin Gaye fans and we dance to it our first, second, and third dates out.
Then there was the likely to be husbands. Would be, number four husband, song was Barry White, Practice What You Preach. Because we both talked about what we would do to one other for about a year before we actually got into bed.
The next one would have been, Gerald Levert, Baby Hold On To Me. We both thought the other did not know how special we were. Nevertheless, I had just made up my mind not to marry any more.
And the man I date now, song would be a country, western, artist, I cannot remember his name, but he sung is, I Ain't Got Started Loving You Yet.
The song you choose need to have meaning to each of you. It need to be a song that both of you will remember. It needs to be a song that for one reason or another, you think of one other when ever you hear it. It needs to be the song that you sing in your head, whenever you hear his/her name. It need to be the song that in 5, 10 ,15, 20 or 50 years you still remember that first dance in each other arms dancing the night away.
The first dance song needs to be the song that brightens the twinkle in both of your eyes.
