The Ugly One
Hide the children, chain the dogs,
Here comes the Ugly One.
Close the curtains, close your eyes,
Thank God she didn't marry your son.
Don't look right at her; if you do, look away
You don't know the damage it'll do!
They say it'll burn your retinas out
If she looks back at you!
Call the circus, ready the cage,
For this one should be hidden.
"Don't feed the freak, she's fat enough,
Close contact is forbidden."
Don't look at her heart, 'cause if you do
You might see the person inside.
No, we can't have that. She looks way too bad.
Best to just turn and hide.
You can talk to her, but if you do
Just make sure she knows
That it's ONLY a gesture of kindness,
And THAT'S as far as it goes!
Don't try to date her. Oh the looks you would get!
Your ego just couldn't bear it.
But if you're desperate enough to sleep with her,
Get a bag, and make sure she wears it.
And DON'T tell your friends, because if you did,
They'd laugh at you 'till they puked,
They'd boot you out of their pretty little group,
Then you too would be rebuked.
No, best just to ignore the Ugly One,
Just pretend she isn't there.
Don't look beyond what's out of her control,
Because you might just start to care

I am slowly dying on the inside.
If you only knew
what it was like

TWO YOUNG LOVERS-
She just wanted to touch the sky.

They were young and free at heart.
Their love
The cool winter breeze whispers across her soft angelic face.
She remains there quiet and alone in the forest.

Away
I want to be away
Away from this house
I can't listen to the arguing in the next room any longer
So painful
So sad
I can't
Buried deep within
was a woman full of hope
abused by the hand of another
she is struggling just to cope
Buried deep within
