Are you missing out on why writing for Helium is such a good deal for you?

Consider wisdom from long ago, specifically in the Book of Proverbs, chapter 6, verses 6-8:

Consider the ant, O sluggard, observe her ways and be wise, which, having no chief, officer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer, and gathers its food at harvest.

While you do something else, you can write for Helium and "store up" income for a harvest that continues to grow over time.

Even as I type this, I have been watching to MSNBC. If you watch TV, you can make a point of almost always writing while the TV is on. You can do the same while playing games on the computer.

With a laptop, its easy to write a few sentences while you wait for someone, like at the doctor's office or while you get your car worked on. If you need to write something for an organization or group, you could write that article on Helium and then refer people to the site. I have a friend who writes professional articles on his own blog and makes no money from it, so you can bet that I will tell him about Helium when I see him Friday.

I recommend writing every day, even if it's nonsense that comes out. I learned this style through Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way.

If you are a blogger, maybe you start writing some of your material on Helium and refer people here through links on your blog. I started blogging in 2004 and I wish I had used Helium back then. Not everything I blogged about was fit for Helium, but I would have gradually built up probably 200-300 articles. I will go over my blogs and see what I can convert to Helium material.

You can also research information that you have wanted to know more about and summarize what you learn in an article or two or three. Maybe you've always wanted to learn about tea, motocross, rabbits, personal development or investing in private companies. The subject doesn't matter if it's something you're interested in and it falls within acceptable guidelines at Helium. When you are interested in the subject matter, your natural enthusiasm will make it more attractive to the audience.

Additionally, as you start to write more and you tell other people what you're doing, you will sooner or later run across people who want to do what you're doing. If you send them a link and they sign up, you'll get 5% of what they make from their writing, according to what I saw in the "rules". Over time, you could get 20, 30, 40, even 100 or more people who follow your link and sign up. One of the mental
