*The Silly Thunder Boy*
*
When I see the Summer Lightning break across a moonlit sky
I'm reminded of a Silly Boy who was born on the 9th of July
*
He had thunder bolt sparkles in his dark hazel eyes
And with his lightning quick wit you'd come to realize
That he was bold and bright as the big thunderous sky
Yeah that's the Silly Thunder Boy born on the 9th of July.
*
Sometimes he erupted with the fury of a sudden summer storm
Other times you would find him quite gentle and so very warm
He ruled powers of persuasion like Mister Prince Charming
And his hot passionate advances I found to be most alarming!
*
It was his nature to rescue; right the wrongs; and build self worth
Just like summer rain that restores life to the sun scorched earth
Resourceful and most convincing it's what he was compelled to do
With the swiftness of a thunderbolt you'd share his point of view.
*
This Silly Thunder Boy once flashed across my very dark sky
He shed light into my darkness so that my eyes would dry
With love and appreciation I will remember this guy
Known as; The Silly Thunder Boy born on the 9th of July

always a protector,

A Boy I Knew
He’ll always be ten going on eleven

There was a boy I used to know
Long, long time ago,
When the world was cleaner
And life much more simple,
Back when I was new.
