IF I COULD FLY
If I could fly, right up to the sky,
I would travel so far,
Wouldn't it be just brilliant?
Much better than the car.
I'd fly to school and back again,
What would my friends all say?
I'd fly around the world and back,
And all in just one day.
If you could fly, right up to the sky,
Where would you like to go?
Would you go to a hot, sunny place
Or somewhere covered in snow?
Would you take a friend with you
Or would you go on your own?
Perhaps you could take me along with you,
Much more fun than flying alone.
If we could fly, right up to the sky,
We could travel to see the stars,
Stop on the way, to visit the moon,
And then pop across to Mars.
Then after all that flying,
We'd fly back home to our beds,
By then we would be sleepy,
Time to rest our arms, legs and heads.
