Poetry: Facing life

by Joseph Martin Ii

Created on: July 07, 2008

Forever Onward

Free at last from endless pain

Unburdened by weighty chains

Free to spread my wings and fly

Unbridled, able to choose where I ride

To the sun to the guiding light

Forever onward beyond your sight

To the edge of the horizons

Where dreams waken in dozens

Pain and suffering are all gone

In the land of legend and song

Forcing through the sleet and rain

To eternity I ride again

Deep inside im not wrong

Searching for where I belong

Searching for my home I ride

Forever onward I run in stride

Not caring what they say

I will search til doomsday

Nothing can stop me as I go

For what I search you shall know
