Gay means happy. Being gay means being playfully happy. And it seems somewhere at some point a man who is playful was not accepted. He acts like a woman, kind of dismissing remark a playful man would get. Between the sheets of time and social normality (or abnormality) it became a tag to homosexual men. Not homosexual women. Well women are still OK to be playful; a feminist take on this would be that it was/is a man's world and men put the rules to their desire. No one would object over two women kissing!

Going back to the question at hand, How to tell if you're gay? Well, first are you playful. It may sound silly but it is true. Gay men are more playful. They are almost the men version of the dumb blond in women. If you are, is that your nature or something else accompany that playfulness? In our desperate attempts to support homosexuals, we are trying to make them feel better about themselves. In the process, politically correct society ended up pushing some men towards the confusion line. Being playful, looking smart, and liking flashy colors (including pink) does not mean you are gay in homosexual sense (but maybe gay in happy and playful sense). The same with girls who like beer and watching football are not necessary lesbian. Growing up with girls, or boys in girls' case, may have great effects on personality and behavior.

Being homosexual, however, is about sexual preference in normal circumstances. In other words, if you have the free choice between same sex (effectively gender) and the opposite sex, equally accessible without social taboos or stigma, which one would you choose?

The question given here may need to be revised to how to tell if you're homosexual? The answers would be intriguing especially how different or similar they may be in relation to the biological genders (male, female)?
