Sammy the Spider -
Sammy the spider has eight legs and loves to run around,
On the ceiling, down the wall, and then across the ground.
Outside he builds a beautiful web, across the window pane,
Back and forth to make a home, that glistens in the rain.
But Sammy has a problem, that makes him very sad,
Whenever people see him, they think that he is bad.
He is really very friendly, so why do people run,
Or shriek and scream, and make a noise, it's really not much fun.
He doesn't understand it, and wants to say hello',
But every time he tries it he gets told now out you go!'
Back in his web, he says out loud, I'm friendly and I care',
His friend the ant then said to him, You give the people a scare'
But I'm only small', he cries back, to his friend the ant that day,
It makes me sad; it makes me cross, that they won't let me stay,
Why am I not scared of them? They are so much bigger than me,
I wish that they would stop to think, then maybe they would see'.
So remember Sammy's problem, and how it made him cry,
And remember he is tiny, he's only just so high.
The spider in your bedroom, well he is very tiny too,
And don't be scared, there's no need, as he's not scared of you.
He might only stay a short while, just come in to say Hello'
Or might stay a little longer, if you are his friend he will know,
You will make him very happy, when you let him run around,
On the ceiling, down the wall, and then across the ground.

If I were the King or the Queen of the zoo
And the animals had nothing to do
The orange hippopotamus with big white teeth
Is swiming ‘cross the bubbles and sinking beneath
Hunting for the walrus
THREE PALS
Once there were three pals
One was a guy and two were gals
It was Tillie The Turtle, Molly The Mouse
And Georgie
Dogs are great
they clean the food off your plate
cats are nice too
they keep your lap warm for you
fish can be fun
but they
How, When, Where, and Why?
I wonder how
a cow says "wow!"
when all they say is "moo"?
I wonder when
That big red hen
will lay
