Original Sin
Chaos creeps cannily from prinordial slime,
in each generation committing a new crime.
Hidden in blackness away from the light,
under the sod, chaos, waiting out of sight.
Until the right moment, chaos comes out to play,
with corrupted corpses littering the way.
Begining with evil thoughts and turning them into deed,
watching the cities burn, their people beg and bleed.
Chaos's playground is destruction, of every living thing,
death the favourite toy, it's happy to fling.
It naps through famines, caused by the game,
stamping on broken bones, creating the lame.
Resurrecting chaos from the slumber of the deep,
as we force ourselves to watch misdeeds we repeat.
From the beginning, neither of us too sophisticated
our passion for blood has never fully abaited.
God, two thousand years man always calls on you
to right the wrong against us that we do.
As always we justify, explain and finally react,
on each broken promise with violence we act.
Our original sin, burns with the hatred of all others
how in all honesty call ourselves brothers.
The world we live in filled with chaos, contaminated with hate,
in our sin, our life, our religion, it's inate.
