Not every bride wants a huge wedding, and in some cases, people getting married have had their first wedding and are marrying for the second or third time. The thought of going through the planning of a wedding again often puts people off the concept of arranging all the things that take time. The couple love each others and they want to be married, and don't have time for months of planning. All kinds of circumstances may mean that a long term marriage plan just isn't feasible, so how would a couple plan a wedding in as little time as a month ?
*Ceremony formalities.
*Wedding gown or outfit.
*Guests.
*Reception.
*Flowers and frills.
The ceremony officialdom is the first obstacle, since a time factor may play in how fast a couple can get married depending upon where the couple live and where they intend to marry. Special licenses or fast chapel weddings in Vegas may not be what the couple have in mind, as although they have chosen a short planning period, it may still be relevant that they want all their loved ones around them when they make their vows.
The first step to getting the planning underway is to get a marriage license, and the approach to the County Clerk's office with all the paperwork at hand, such as passport, birth information or information on previous marriages and divorces is essential. Different states have different rules and if this is the first step, you go forward informed about the different rulings which may apply to you and which may delay the possibility of marriage. For example, some states have laws about waiting periods, some need blood tests, though all have some kind of procedure that you need to understand in order to get married. The faster you deal with this aspect, the easier the planning will be.
The duration of an application for a marriage license is 90 days, so having applied and been granted one, you still have time left to spare if your plans to get married within the month actually fail for unforeseen reasons.
*Wedding gown and groom's outfit.
It is possible to buy a wedding gown which is already made, rather than having one made specially. This cuts down the time factor and the bridal shops will be able to arrange any slight alterations needed in a relatively short space of time. Those who do not want the formality of a wedding gown can shop for a suitable outfit in the stores as the selection of articles suited to a wedding is vast.
For the groom, hiring an outfit is an option since this requires very little time to arrange.
*Guests.
