Beauty begins deep inside of a person. In today's world we are on display each time we walk out the door. Unfortunalty we each are at fault when it comes to judging others. Our appearance says many things to the people we meet. I personally have met someone or seen them walking down the street and judged them by their clothing or their hair style. Maybe they are sporting tattoos or multiple earrings and there my judging nature goes.

I have discovered over the years,that you really cannot judge a book by its cover. What we see is not always what is true. None of us never truly know someone until we have walked in their shoes. I have met many people that are locked in chains,they are prisoners for many reasons. But unless I look past the striped suit and the chains on their legs and hands I will never know them. Most have been imprisoned and forced away from their families because of poverty. They have nothing to fight the system with,so there fore they are transferred from one place to another. But the beauty that lies within these people is amazing. Some are angry and others are just scared. But never have they been rude or ugly in any way. I am treated with respect and courtesy that I don't receive just walking down the street. They have a beauty inside of them that makes the statement of pride and honor. This is not a beauty that you can paint on in the morning.

I had a friend that was in her nineties,she was gorgeous! This lady had a love for the Lord and a love for her family. Her hair was gray almost white,her body was bent from arthritis. But her smile and her attitude drew your eyes away from the physical bodyyou only saw the love and joy for life in her words and actions.Vorine stayed busy taking her great grandchildren to ball practice and to ballet lessons. She followed her grandsons football team to every game. Her daughter was blessed by her mothers cooking when she arrived home from work each day. Her children and grandchildren were blessed by the beauty of her soul. There is no greater beauty than that of unconditional love. Vorine had plenty of beauty to share. I know that she touched my life. I hope that in some small way I will be able to mirror that beauty of such a loving lady.

Beauty isn't found in a bottle or in a pill. It is not the newest fad or the fastest car. True beauty is developed,it is perfected in love and peace in our lives. If you truly have a contented heart,a heart that yearns to give to others then that love will start to change the appearance of your attitude. A deeper beauty emerges that hides the gray hair or the extra roll around the middle. It doesn't matter what your physical body looks like because the inner peace will fade all of the lines and wrinkles.

It has always been said that beauty is only skin deep. I believe that beauty is as deep as your soul. Find that place in your life that you can release the inner beauty of contentment and rest for all to see.. You may be surprised at the erase marks that you find in all areas of your life.
