It's summer time, and we all know what that means. Around the end of June to the middle of July, you and your family are probably going to be taking it easy, having fun filled barbeques with family and friends, and sitting around the house in front of the central air duct. But this life style gets boring fast. Eventually you and your family are going to want to venture out of the house and have at least a few adventures. I know that this summer is very different because of the high gas prices, but that doesn't mean you have to abort all your summer plans. Children don't always appreciate the time and energy that went into planning a vacation, they only care about the things can do once they get there.
You see, you don't always have to drive far to find adventure. Some of the most memorable attractions are right in your backyard. Trying to plan a yearly blow out vacation can not only be expensive, but stressful and time consuming as well. You may feel as if you have to travel long and far to find a vacation spot that you're family will always remember, but it's not always where you go that make the trip memorable, but people you're with.
